
The Orpheus Youth Dance Group is open for
children 9-15 years old. The Youth program
was established in 1998 and its goal is to expose and promote the Greek
folk dance
tradition to the younger generations. There are 3 class levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced.
The
2023-2024
program will run from September 9, 2023 until May
18, 2024. The registration fee is $300 and members must be 9 years of age by the end of the current
calendar year (2023).

Mask Policy Update
In
accordance with the state's announcement
to lift the indoor mask mandate and in
coordination with the guidelines as
dictated by our practice facilities, masks
will be optional.
We will continue to monitor local, state, county, and CDC
notifications and will adjust our guidelines if, when and
where appropriate.
We thank you for your continued participation at our
programs. We also thank you for understanding the need to
follow the required mitigations throughout this pandemic.
We look forward to continuing to serve the Greek community
and do not hesitate to encourage others to joins our
programs.
As a reminder, even as masks are recommended (as
applicable at Orpheus practice sessions and functions) :

Stay home if you are sick

Wear a mask during days 1-10 after a COVID exposure, as
applicable
If you are sick, the following protocols apply (as
applicable at Orpheus practice session and functions):

Get tested for COVID

If you are positive, you can return to practice after 6
days have passed by. Return but required to wear a mask on
days 7-10.You may not return until you are symptom free
for at least 24 hours.

If you are negative: take care of your symptoms, return to
practice when you are symptom free for at least 24 hours.

Only students are allowed
inside the practice facilities

It is critical for children to start early in order to
build a strong connection with their Hellenic culture and
heritage.
Beginner, intermediate, and advanced class levels are offered at
two locations
on Thursdays and Saturdays from September through May.
A team of experienced teachers provides expert instruction in a
friendly and supportive environment.

existing members. Space is limited.
Members must be 9 years of age by the end of the current year
(2023). Registration fee is $300 for the year.

Before each class,
a covid screening list must
be reviewed by all students and parents before attending class.
By attending class you acknowledge that you have reviewed the covid
screening document.

You can mail your payment or use the PayPal link provided below. Registration fee: $300 per member.
Note: A $50 credit will be offered to existing members for
each referenced new member that will join us next year (siblings
excluded)

Note: For now, we will hold youth group classes only on Saturdays
from 2-3 p.m. at the Glenview location. We will evaluate whether another
session (Thursdays) will be added based on registration levels.
