The Program

    The Orpheus Youth Dance Group is open for children 9-15 years old.  The Youth program was established in 1998 and its goal is to expose and promote the Greek folk dance tradition to the younger generations.
    There are 3 class levels, beginners, intermediate and advanced.

     The 2021-2022 program will run from September 11, 2021 until May 15, 2022. The registration fee is $275 and members must be 9 years of age by the end of the current calendar year (2022).

Practice Guidelines

  • Masks are required in all indoor spaces
    Students are required to wear face coverings in all indoor areas. Face coverings should be worn properly, covering the nose and mouth, and meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) standards. Neck gaiters and bandanas are not permitted. Students arriving without appropriate face coverings will be provided a disposable face mask.

  • Only students are allowed inside the practice facilities

  • Review covid screening list before class

  • All registered members/parents need to sign the covid waiver form

  • If you develop symptoms of COVID-19 or test positive for COVID-19 within 48 hours of attending a practice or performance please contact us at 630-291-0661

Registration - Fall 2021

Please spread the word to family and friends about the Orpheus Youth group.
It is critical for children to start early in order to build a strong connection with their Hellenic culture and heritage.
Beginner, intermediate, and advanced class levels are offered at two locations on Thursdays and Saturdays from September through May.
A team of experienced teachers provides expert instruction in a friendly and supportive environment.

  • Registration for 2021-2022.
    Pre-registration for 2021-2022 is now open.

  • Registration is open for new and existing members.
    All received registration forms will be processed on a first come first served basis.
    Space is limited.

    Members must be 9 years of age by the end of the current year (2021).
    Registration fee is $275 for the year.
    Note: A $50 credit will be offered to existing members for each referenced new member that will join us next year (siblings excluded)

  • Download the registration form (pdf or doc format) and code of conduct (pdf or doc format).
    Both forms need to be filled out and signed.
    A new covid waiver form has been added.  Please download and sign at the bottom of the document.

    Before each class, a covid screening list must be reviewed by all students and parents before attending class.
    By attending class you acknowledge that you have reviewed the covid screening document.
