Nea Genia Group

The Orpheus Nea Genia group consists of graduates of the Orpheus Youth program who wish to continue to be part of the dance programs offered by the Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society (OHFS). Other eligible members can join the Nea Genia group after review and approval by the directors. Nea Genia members age range is 15-22 years old. At age 19, Nea Genia members can also be part of the Orpheus Adult Group. No additional fees are required for participation in both the Nea Genia and Adult Groups. 

Classes are held on Thursday evenings from February thru January. Any new members looking to join at a different time should contact us for further consultation. The Nea Genia Group participates annually at the HDF Dance Festival/Competition that is held every January. It is beneficial for new members to start in February and learn the new material from the beginning. 

The registration fee is $300.

Classes are held on Thursdays from 6:15 – 7:30PM.
