Orpheus Youth Group - 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Children of 9-15 years old with little or no previous dance experience.

Orpheus 'Nea Genia' Group - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm (Thursday, Niles location only)
The Orpheus Nea Genia group consists of graduates of the Orpheus Youth program where they have the opportunity to continue to be part of the dance programs offered by the Orpheus Hellenic Folklore Society (OHFS). Other eligible members can join the Nea Genia group after review and approval by the directors of the OHFS. Nea Genia members age range is 15-22 years old. At age 19, Nea Genia members are required to also be part of the Orpheus Adult Group. The annual registration fee for the Nea Genia group is $250.00. No additional fees are required for participation in both the Nea Genia and adult groups.

The 2016-2017 program will run from August 11, 2016 until end of June 2017.

Orpheus Adult Group
Individuals can register any time ... no previous experience is required.  Annual registration fee is $250 per person.
Practices are held every Thursday except for Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Summer break (summer break is usually July through middle of August) .

Beginner/Intermediate: 6:30-7:30 p.m., classes start on Thursday, August 11 (see more details below)
Advanced:  7:30-9:00 p.m., classes start on Thursday, August 11

Beginner/Intermediate - 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm (18 years and older)
Due to popular demand starting in 2015 two classes are offered one for beginner's and another one for intermediate adult level students (6:30-7:30 p.m.)

The beginner level class are for members with little or no previous dance experience. 
The intermediate level class are for members who have shown progress in the beginners' class.

    
Advanced/Competitive - 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Dancers who have shown progress in the intermediate class can attend the last hour of practice. At the discretion of the instructors, the intermediate level dancers will be practicing in a separate line. 
In order to practice on their own and become accustomed to the music, all dancers, especially beginners, are encouraged to obtain a personal CD of the music used for practices/performances.
