| Imagine weekly dance practice, year-round performances, participation in
the World Cup opening ceremony, dancing on the marble stage of the
ancient Herodes Atticus Theater on the Acropolis or performing for
relatives in the village square of your hometown in Greece.
These special memories are all part of the Orpheus experience.
To mark its 20th anniversary, the Orpheus Hellenic Folklore
Society announces a benefit to celebrate two decades of Greek
folk dance and music! The 2-hour performance will feature adult and youth performers, in traditional costumes, showcasing dances and songs from mainland Greece and the islands. Audio-visual highlights from past events will also be featured along with a choral medley, live folk music by the Orpheus music ensemble, special guest artists and more. |
